Allegrini Valpolicella DCO 2017 Review
Soft notes of cherry and slight vanilla are present upon first pour, but this wine needs some air to show it’s cards. After a good swirl the earthier notes emerge, in the form of plowed earth and crushed rock, framing the profile of the blend. Most of the wines of Allegrini are meant for aging, but this bottle is a nice intro to what you can expect and can be drunk immediately.
