Allegrini Palazzo della Torre Veronese IGT 2015 Review
This wine is elegant, and a bit age-worthy, calling upon the ripasso method of adding dried must to the wine to add depth. And that depth comes through in concentrated notes of cherry and vanilla. The tannin structure of the wine is sound, and before it breathes, can seem closed up. With a little air the wine opens with added notes of espresso and some cinnamon dipped in blackberry jam.
