Alberta Premium Cask Strength Rye Review
This innovative rye whisky from one of the biggest players in the Canadian whisky market is a must-try. Made with 100 percent unmalted rye, the distillery uses proprietary enzymes to aid fermentation and impart unique flavors to the final spirit. The nose is a mixture of tart berries (cranberry and cherry) with intense oak and sweet maple syrup. The palate is rich, with flavors of sweet baking spices and caramel. This is a distinctive and delicious example of rye whisky, unlike anything you may have tasted before.
