1792 Full Proof Bourbon
Review
Sazerac’s 1792 Full Proof isn’t coy about its whopping 62.5 percent ABV. As assertive as its palate may be, it isn’t defined by overwhelming heat. Rather, it dishes up an intriguing breadth of complexity, beginning with a swirl of umami and tangy fruit notes on the nose. The palate proves equally generous with notes of blackberry compote and rich Black Forest cake. Albeit, some tannic character hinders the finish, but it’s an undeniably quality bottle nonetheless.
