The Story Behind The Bourbon Apple Cider Sour

Every Southern girl knows that no matter how far from home you stray, there's nothing like a cocktail with some good bourbon. With fresh, crisp apples at their peak, it's the perfect time of year to head out to your local market and find seasonal ingredients to muddle together with your bourbon. You can't do better than this Bourbon Apple Cider Sour cocktail. The bourbon has its own great fall flavors like vanilla and dried fruit that go beautifully with the cinnamon. But it's an egg white that really brings all these flavors together. If you're put off by this raw ingredient, trust me and try it just once; it not only brings all the other ingredients together in perfect harmony, but it fills your mouth with a delicate silkiness you won’t want to miss.
