The Story Behind The Mango & Strawberry Gin Slush

It’s getting to be that time of year where we have to work hard to beat the heat, and what better way to do so than with an alcoholic slushy? This drink will make you both nostalgic for your childhood and happy you’re of legal drinking age. Because I have so many leftover ingredients from Memorial Day weekend, making this cocktail couldn’t have come at a better time. Sorbet, strawberries, and various herbs were all lying around my kitchen, just begging to be transformed into a chilled summer drink.

This cocktail is perfect for a warm afternoon with friends. You can make large pitchers of it beforehand so your guests can serve themselves while you participate in the festivities. Entertain your friends and family all summer long with this simple gin-based slushy that’s as easy as blend, pour, enjoy.
