Strawberry Creamsicle Snow Cones

It is blazing hot in Seattle right now which means all I can think about is ice. Today’s drink is inspired by my desire to cool off, as well as our country’s independence, because what better way to celebrate the fourth than with a great drink?

When planning out some fun and tasty cocktails for this holiday weekend I immediately wanted something that was fun and icy. I love old school orange creamsicle pops because they bring back memories of elementary school dessert. I decided to run with this idea but use strawberries as a base to give the cocktail a festive Fourth of July touch. I also decided to turn them into snow cones because who doesn’t love snow cones?

This treat is the perfect cocktail to serve at your Fourth of July party. Strawberries are currently at their peak and make the pefect seasonal addition, but if you aren’t a strawberry fan, other fruits could be used including blueberries, blackberries, and even the classic orange.

Not only will this boozy adult treat impress your guests but they’ll also cool everyone down! So let’s bring back our childhood in boozy form and celebrate the Fourth of July!
