Wolf Spirit Puncher's Chance Bourbon ‘The Left Cross’ Review
This bourbon is an impressive 14-year-old release that was finished for 2 to 6 months in 12-year-old Jamaican rum casks. While using rum casks for finishing can sometimes overpower aged spirits — particularly American whiskeys — the influence here is beautifully integrated. The Left Cross showcases a deeply concentrated and complex flavor profile that combines the base bourbon's round, slightly spiced notes with rich molasses flavors from the rum casks. While it may be pricey, this is a worthy addition to any bourbon enthusiast's collection.
