Williams Selyem Savoy Vineyard Pinot Noir 2020 Review
Williams Selyem Winery is a pioneering force in northern California wine. The former neighbors Burt Williams and Ed Selyem began this venture in the early '80s bottling single-vineyard Pinot Noir when the idea was not even new, but almost completely unknown. Fast forward to today and they have expanded the winery while retaining their initial passion for wine. This Pinot Noir is one of those single-vineyard bottlings with a bright lean nose showing classic cherry fruit and a good dose of minerality. This continues to the palate with an added mild fruit depth. The acidity is plentiful, bringing a high-tone mouthfeel, while still offering good concentration.
