Wairau River Pinot Noir 2017 Review
Ever wonder what we mean when we use rhubarb as a descriptor? Put your nose in that glass immediately after the first pour and that is what hits you. This Pinot is unique and on the leaner side of this style of wine, while still retaining some depth. The palate is chewy and the depth is balanced by that rhubarb again coming at ya live, along some earthier wet leaf aroma. This wine wants to hang out. It is great chilled and a perfect beach or picnic companion.
