Vignamaggio Merlot di Santa Maria 2016 Review
This 15th century Tuscan estate recently underwent a major renovation, and now their 400-hectare organic farm and vineyards can be enjoyed with a stay at their historic property. If that doesn't convince you to visit, this well-aged Merlot will. It has a worn leather nose with hints of cured tobacco and juicy red berries. Good acidity on the palate allows the aged components to shine with soft, plush, earthy fruit. Such an elegant yet rustic wine.
