Vie di Romans Friuli Isonzo DOC Chardonnay 2016 Review
Some of my favorite Chardonnay comes from Friuli in northern Italy. This wine has such a balance it will catch you off guard with its nose of quiet roasted coconut, bright golden apple and lemon curd, and then floor you with a rich, mineral driven palate that coats your mouth like a cool spring breeze with the sun on your face. If you ever want to experience the best of this grape in Italy, and have $40 to spend, I guarantee this wine will blow your mind.
