Valdo Marca Oro Prosecco Rosé 2023
Review
The Bolla family, known for introducing the U.S. to the wines of Valpolicella, bought this winery in the late '30s to begin making sparking wine for the urban markets. The first bottle of sparkling they made was Marca Oro, still in production today. When the DOC officially added rosé to the Prosecco category in 2020, it made sense for the winery to add a pink bubbly with the same iconic title. The bottle offers notes of strawberries and raspberries dusted in powdered sugar with a soft texture and fine bubbles.
