Two Stacks The Blender’s Cut Cask Strength Review
Cask strength releases are seldom found in the realm of Irish whiskey but this release makes a strong argument in favor of them. Along with its 65 percent ABV content, the intriguing blend of grain, pot still, double malt, and peated malt whiskeys will no-doubt delight whiskey geeks, as will its complex profile. The nose leads with graham cracker, toffee, and banana aromas, and just a whiff puff of smoke. The palate runs supercharged and remarkably spicy, with a rich fruit core.
