The Spirit of Haiti Clairin Vaval Review
This Clairin hails from Distillerie Arawaks, owned and operated by Fritz Vaval, whose family has been in the farm distillery business for over 70 years. Clocking in at exactly 53.5 percent ABV, this Clairin is fermented with ambient yeasts, distilled on a proprietary still, and bursts with notes of mango and papaya with salty, umami undertones. On the palate, more fruity and vegetal notes enter the fray, rounded out by an assertive finish that speaks to the rustic practices employed in this rum's creation
