The Matsui Single Malt Sakura Cask Review
This single malt undergoes a double maturation process, with the first (uspecified) period of aging taking place in ex-bourbon casks before the whisky is transferred to bourbon barrels with sakura wood heads. With bright, fruity, and floral aromas, this release has a youthful character, but don’t worry about any lack of flavor or concentration on the palate.
