The Language of Yes Rancho Réal Vineyard Syrah 2022 Review

Randall Grahm has been pushing the envelope of wine for decades. He was the first in the U.S. to completely switch to screw cap closures and has been was pioneer in California's Rhône Ranger movement to champion native Rhône varieties. The Language of Yes, is Grahm's new project focusing on the wine styles of the nearby Languedoc region of southern France, where Syrah is also frequently found. This bottle, sourced from the Rancho Réal Vineyard, is savory on the nose, with hints of citrus mingling with cinnamon and wild berry fruit. The palate is on point with medium concentration and supportive acidity.
