The Glenturret 12 Year Single Malt 2023 Release Review
The Glenturret was founded in 1763, making it Scotland’s oldest working distillery. That rich heritage and cumulative prowess is clearly reflected in this Highland single malt. Its Cognac-adjacent profile dishes up a range of flavors from raisins and baking spices to oak and demerara sweetness. There’s no peat to speak of here, but it sips like a Scotch that’s well above the 12-year mark without seeming tired or past its prime.
