The GlenAllachie Speyside Single Malt Aged 12 Years
Review
Prepare for a much bolder single malt in comparison to most 12-year-old releases. From the “valley of the rocks” (the translation of the Gaelic Gleann Aileachaidh), this Scotch has nicely integrated tannins from virgin oak, creating a beautiful mouth-feel. The nose displays lots of ripe berries that are complemented by warm baking spices and toasty oak. The fruit then transforms on the palate to a rich and deliciously sweet berry compote.
