Colle Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2016 Review
Since 2001, owners Daniele and Maria have run Terra di Seta along with their organic family farm on a hill in Siena overlooking the Tuscan countryside. This is the southernmost zone in the Classico region and the Seta family knows exactly how to coax a wonderful wine out of this warm, dry climate. This Gran Selezione is an elegant wine with a lithe tannic frame. There is a soft punch of dark berry fruit winding through its core which makes the palate is extremely balanced and smooth. It is a definitive wine that truly represents the area in which it was made.
