Tenuta Monteti 'Monteti' Toscana IGT 2013 Review
Tannin from Petit Verdot frames the structure of this rustic red wine. Instead of fruit, you are welcomed with aromas mint and dill, with a touch of fresh tobacco leaf. There is a definite musk vibe going on here as strap leather and some eucalyptus emerge around subtle yet identifiable cherry plum concentration. On its own this wine might be a bit much, but it’s a good bottle and would do well during a wine and cheese night.
