Tamdhu 21 Year Old Sherry Cask Matured
Review
You possibly haven’t heard of Tamdhu as, until last decade, it was almost entirely used in blends. This limited release (just 12,000 bottles) from Ian Macleod Distillers is aged exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks, as is now standard for Tamdhu. On the palate, there’s a dried fruit quality, rum raisin perhaps, with notes of chocolate, leather, old library books, and baking spice/tannins on the finish.
