Stonestreet Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 'Founder's Edition' Review

This bourbon arrives with a minimum age of 5+ years, bottled at 47 percent ABV, and carrying a price tag of $60. Those are fairly lofty figures for what is ostensibly a sourced whiskey, but that’s also a reductive, clinical way to analyze whiskey when the liquid is this enjoyable. The nose is soft and approachable; the palate, likewise. There’s depth and complexity, too, with prominent notes of vanilla, berry compote, and Graham crackers. Barrel tannins bolster the finish and cement its credentials as a bona fide sipper — age and prominence be damned!
