St. Francis Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel 2015 Review

Guys, this Zinfandel is quintessential to why this Croatian grape is now considered an American Variety. St. Francis just does it right by adding about 10% Petit Sirah for added depth. This wine is dense, yet balanced. The weight on the palate is calmed by the wonderful aromas of clove and olive over a layer of blueberry and dark chocolate sliced through with cinnamon and nutmeg. This wine will age for a while and at $40 bottle, that’s a good investment.
