Slo Down Wines Broken Dreams Chardonnay 2017 Review

It seems that this wine is about a message and an image more than a focus on winemaking, which is fine, as long as you know what you're getting yourself into. The playful drunk monkeys on the label connote a boozy experience and that is exactly what you will get with this wine as the alcohol hits you first followed by candied banana. There are some other aromas struggling to come out such as vanilla and maybe some tropical fruit, but the intense sweetness from the ethanol and the chewy tasted oak take away from any of that. It has a screw cap, making it look easy and laid back, but inside it is anything but. It's a good party wine.
