Simonsig Kaapse Vonkel Brut Rosé 2015 Review

This wine excites my inner wine geek because it is made in the methode cap classique method which is basically the traditional or Champagne method but done in South Africa. On top of that the blend is so Stellenbosch, with all three Pinots used in the blend and it's a vintage wine! Because of all of this the result is a juicy wine (due to the Pinot Meunier) that is round, and broad on the palate, with medium soft bubbles heightening the aromas of strawberry and cherry confection (due to the Pinot Noir) with a lingering secretion of smoke in the background (due to the Pinotage). It's a new sensation for your palate. You should buy it, and have it for brunch or the beach.
