Santa Barbara Winery Pinot Noir 2016 Review
Cherry liqueur and sweet beetroot greet you on the nose along with a waft of ethanol. Under the layer of heat, aromas of candied fruit and rum-spiked vanilla emerge. On the palate, although the acidity is high, the finish is a bit overwhelming and sweet. This wine would do well at social gatherings that focus more on lubricating conversation than wine.
