Santa Barbara Winery Chardonnay 2017 Review
The coastal aspect of where this wine is made shines through here with crisp citrus notes of orange peel and grapefruit. The acidity is alive and spinning through the body of the wine, brightening the deeper tones of sweet wood and coconut combined with a tinge of lemon/lime. The high alcohol only interferes a skosh on the medium finish, letting you know this still is a wine that was made in a warm climate. This is a great wine for gathering, as it evokes sipping with friends at sunset with munchies and good convo.
