San Simeon Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 Review
While it’s evident that this Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a warmer climate, given its ripe fruit, it’s manages to be both full-bodied and restrained. Concentrated black cherry and blackberry fruit are balanced by lift from eucalyptus-scented herbal aromas, and the palate carries that ripeness of fruit through, with some baking spice added in. Moderately tannic, to hold things together, the finish is sweet but comforting.
