Rombauer Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 Review
It’s everywhere, therefore it’s a safe bet on the higher end of the price spectrum if you are looking to impress people that you feel need to be impressed, and you're in a pitch to grab a bottle. The wine is balanced and you and your impressionable friend will definitely enjoy the wafts of vanilla and pepper (more vanilla than pepper), the bold, chewy structure, and the lack of a tannin structure. You won’t find yourself waxing on and off about the complexity of the wine but it will be an enjoyable experience.
