Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc Brut 2015 Review
Schramsberg has produced sparkling wine in the Traditional Method (the same process used in Champagne) since the 1960's, and has been regarded as a leader in the category in California ever since. This vintage blanc de blanc is a light golden color, and has elegant aromas that include jasmine tea, green apples, and lemon meringue pie. It has a very dry, savory character, with a fine, delicate, and creamy mousse. Flavors include green apples, salted butter, and lemon custard. This vintage Cali bubbly is priced much less than non-vintage Champagne, and is an incredible value.
