Pfendler Chardonnay 2014 Review
This is classic, oaked California Chardonnay with excellent balance. Yellow and red apple aromas sit underneath buttered popcorn and hints of vanilla bean, carrying through on the palate as well. Lemon acidity brightens the baked apple pie character on the long finish, a slight oxidative note just holding the wine back from being supreme.
