Penner-Ash Syrah 2015 Review
Syrah may be more associated with Washington, but this bottle proves that Oregon can do it well, too. Driven by dense black and purple fruit, subtle accents of high-toned mint, black licorice, pine needles and ash give it varietal character. While this is a rich wine, acidity and a slightly high-toned, sanguine note brighten the palate.
