Joel Gott Oregon Pinot Gris 2017 Review
This is a pleasant and refreshing Pinot Gris. It has a very light color and subtle aromas of green apples, wildflowers, and a hint of Ivory soap. Flavors include green apples, pears, white peach, and a hint of lemongrass. It’s very dry, crisp, light, and crushable. It’s more complex than a typical Italian Pinot Grigio, but lighter than a typical Alsace Pinot Gris. If you like fresh Austrian Grüner Veltliner, you’ll like this invigorating wine. Have on its own or with Thai takeout.
