Primosic Ribolla di Oslavia Riserva Collio DOC 2014 Review
What a great orange wine. The nose is filled with unique aromas of candied citrus and ginger, with a slight caramel note that glitters more than overwhelms. The palate is deep and broad but has a welcome note of salinity running through so as not to weigh you down. As the wine warms a bit a significant honeysuckle aroma enters to bring this awesome profile home. If you haven’t tried orange wine, and are on the fence, spend the $36; this is how it is done.
