Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2012 Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Review
Produced on the Isle of Islay by the same folks that make Bruichladdich, this heavily peated single malt is bold and elegant. Powerful smoke forms just a part of its profile, with intense fruit (dried and fresh), toasty oak, and rustic earth notes adding layers and nuance.
