New Riff Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (Fall 2017) Review
This bottled-in-bond bourbon comes from one of the standout new-wave Kentucky distilleries. It's made using a high-rye mash bill, and bottled without chill-filtration — all of which contributes to a bold and distinctive personality. Attractive peanut aromas are joined by hints of cherry wood, toasted oak, and vanilla. The influence of rye comes more to the fore on the palate, ensuring each sip is lively and energetic.
