Murphy-Goode Merlot 2019 Review
In 1985, three friends decided to partner up and make some wine over a game of liar’s dice. They became pioneering winemakers in Sonoma’s Alexander Valley. Today, co-founder Dave Ready’s son, Dave Ready Jr., carries on the legacy of making very affordable, easy-drinking wines. This Merlot is not about complexity, but a good time. It’s soft and plush with a slight boozy punch. The acidity is right, keeping the balance and making it a Tuesday grab-and-go.
