Moric Blaufränkisch Burgenland 2021 Review
Winemaker Roland Velich crafts terroir-driven Blaufränkisch in Burgenland, the heart Austria's red wine production. His idea of winemaking is very simple; soil, variety, and climate are all you need to make a good wine. If Blaufränkisch is a new grape on your wine journey, this bottle is a great place to start. It has an earthy nose with some pepper deep down and berries on top. The palate is great with juicy fruit, bright acidity, and a slight tannic grip. Dark earthy, dry, and all kinds of balanced.
