Mazzei 'Philip' Rosso Toscana IGT 2015 Review
This is a great rich and deep Cab from Tuscany, made by the family of Filipe Mazzei who came to Virginia to help Thomas Jefferson realize his not-so-realized dream of making great wine near his Monticello estate. It has a grip on the palate and smells like blackberries and freshly turned earth. It's an excellent steak wine or holiday bottle.
