Markham Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot 2021 Review
In a world dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, Markham has been making wine from Merlot since 1980. It was actually only the fourth winery in the valley to do so. This is Markham's "backbone" blend, sourced from vineyards across the estate. It has a medium, earthy nose with pops of blueberries and cherries and balanced oak aromas. The palate is soft, juicy and even with good acidity to lift the fruit. If you see it, grab it.
