Marine Layer Lyra Pinot Noir 2022 Review
This wine is a love letter to the diversity of Sonoma and the various clones that make up the tapestry of vineyards Marine Layer works with. This Pinot Noir is a blend from across their holding and clones. Ty is a portrait of their work combined into a bottle. The nose is fresh-picked mushrooms with the earth still attached and a slight olive aroma mingling with deep dark cherry notes. The mouthfeel is fleshy with amazing acidity lifting the wine on the palate, showcasing more deep cherry aromas along with a sprinkling of cinnamon.
