Madroña Vineyards Signature Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Review
This winery's website says it all: “At Madroña, we make exceptional wines that are a simple, yet powerful, reflection of this special place, meant to be enjoyed at the table with family and friends.” The wine does indeed come from a special place, the high-elevation vineyards of California's El Dorado AVA, located 3,000 feet above sea level. There's fragrant red fruit and some earth on the nose. On the palate, this Cab is medium-bodied with slightly grippy tannins and excellent balance.
