Madroña Vineyards Grenache Rosé 2023 Review
This isn't your typical Grenache rosé. This wine is a blend of 87 percent Grenache and 13 percent Yellow Muscat from California’s high-elevation El Dorado AVA. The Muscat adds a fragrant layer of aromatics that immediately jump out of the glass with notes of honeysuckle, rose petals, and fresh basil leaf. The palate has juicy red fruit flavors from the Grenache, like strawberry and raspberry, with a refreshing acidity that lifts up all of the perfumed notes.
