MacMurray Estate Vineyards Russian River Pinot Gris 2017 Review
Named after Actor Fred MacMurray (Double Indemnity 1944) who bought this land in 1941 during the golden age of film and now run by his daughter Kate, this winery focuses on Pinot Noir and cool climate whites. Although this is a high-production winery, this Pinot Gris (Grigio) is on point with great minerality for the Russian River, with a significant dollop of honey under a layer of pear with a hint of grassy hay to round it all out. This would be great with any spring or summer salad.
