Louis M. Martini Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 Review
This is right in the sweet spot of what a Cali cab should taste like. It’s priced at around $34 which is considered affordable in the US these days, it has an alcohol of 13.6% which means it has balance, won’t burn your nose hairs and will definitely pair with that steak. And even though there may be a skosh of Merlot, the aromas are on point, with earthiness sifted into cherry and plum aromas complimented by just the right amount of vanilla from moderate oak exposure. It is a solid US wine for any occasion.
