Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky Review
This non-chill filtered single malt from Loch Lomond is an experiment gone well in American oak aging. After resting in bourbon, refill, and re-charred barrels, this Scotch comes out swinging with a deep, fruit-forward nose redolent of peaches, pears, and vanilla bean. A welcomed touch of smokiness emerges on the palate and lasts long into the finish.
