Littorai Wines Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2024 Review
Ted Lemon has the honor of being the first American ever hired as winemaker and vineyard manager of a Burgundian estate (Domaine Guy Roulot in Meursault). You would think he wouldn’t want to leave. But in the '90s he and his partner Heidi instead searched the coast of California and landed in the maritime climate of Sebastopol in western Sonoma County. This wine defines their story. You can taste the inspiration in every sip. It has a nose of soft, ripe apples with a touch of vanilla in the background. There is a creamy texture on the palate, with grippy edges and a lingering finish.
