LIOCO Wine Co. Tidal Break Vineyard Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2023 Review
LIOCO's collaboration is always focused on precision and site-specificity. This wine comes from block allocations from Tidal Break Vineyard, owned by the Jackson family (behind the brands Kendall Jackson, La Crema, and Copain), in the cool West Sonoma Coast AVA. The wine sees large neutral barrels and some stainless steel, capturing Chardonnay's lean texture and depth. It has a mineral nose with some quiet pops of pear and apple fruit. The palate brings medium fruit depth and good acid.
