Le Doubblé Troubblé Pear Blossom Vineyard Grüner Veltliner 2022 Review
Washington State is not all Riesling and Merlot. In the new-ish Columbia Gorge AVA there is some exciting exploration happening. These dudes moved to this AVA from Willamette to get in on the energy here, but also to be within proximity of their second love, deep powder and slopes. This wine has wet-rock minerality with some apple, lemon, and pepper aromas. The palate is jumping with wildly active acidity alongside round, juicy fruit. All this wrapped up in a firm grip and waxy texture. Very awesome wine.
